The big surprise of Smackdown Live this week was AJ Styles winning the WWE Championship from Jinder Mahal. As a result, the title reign of Jinder has officially ended. This is the second time that AJ has won the WWE Title and he became the first person in history to win the WWE title in Europe.

With the win, AJ will go on to Survivor Series and will be facing Brock Lesnar at the event.
