AJ Styles was recently a guest on ‘E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness‘. He spoke with Edge and Christian on a wide variety of topics about his wrestling career. This included listing a few names that he still wants to wrestle in WWE that he hasn’t had the chance to yet.

AJ has been adamant about wanting to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura in WWE and we have already covered his comments about possibly facing Nakamura from the podcast. He also listed several new names that he still hasn’t had a program with.
“I have yet to wrestle Rusev and I think that would be really fun, to wrestle a guy like him. But there are guys on the RAW side that I haven’t really been in the ring with like Seth Rollins and Finn Bálor. I think people want to see.
Styles also shared that his top goal in WWE is to one day main event Wrestlemania:
“I would like to somehow find myself back at the main event. Everybody wants to be in the main event of WrestleMania. I’ll keep climbing that ladder and see where it takes me, but there’s nothing better than being a part of WrestleMania except being in the main event of WrestleMania.”
With the talent that Styles has, there is no question that he deserves to be in a main event slot next year. The only question is if WWE will pull the trigger.
