Before this week’s episode of NXT went on the air, an interesting match took place for the fans in attendance. It appears as if this match was taped for an upcoming episode of NXT. As a result, a spoiler warning applies to the rest of this post.
Before NXT went on the air, Roderick Strong defended his NXT North American Championship.
Strong defended his Title against Austin Theory, who signed with WWE a few months ago. This was said to be a really good match, with Strong retaining his belt. Here is a photo:
This appears to be Theory’s debut match in NXT, which could be airing over the next few weeks. It would make sense for this to air on Christmas week since that will be a taped show.
Either way, it sounds like it was a fun match, so I can’t wait to see it!
