It was rumored last week that Andrade had asked for his release from WWE. On Twitter, Andrade came out and confirmed these rumors. It was later reported that his release request was rejected by WWE.
WWE announced on Sunday night that they have now officially released Andrade from the company.
Here is the statement that was issued on WWE.com:
Andrade released
WWE has come to terms on the release of Andrade. We wish him all the best in all of his future endeavors.
Andrade also Tweeted the following prior to the Fastlane PPV:
Good news!!!! Buenas noticias!!! #Tranquilo #Happy
