Above are the top ten highlights from the August 1st 2016 RAW. This week saw the return to WWE TV of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. We got to see a great match between Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn. An entertaining opening segment with Enzo Amore and Sasha Banks going at it verbally (followed by in the ring) against Charlotte and Chris Jericho. Overall it was a good show but was it enough to boos viewership numbers from last week?

The August 1st 2016 RAW dropped a bit from last week. The show did an average of 3.314 million viewers. This is a slight drop from last weeks 3.338 million viewers. The show started out strong but suffered a big drop in the third hour. Still pretty solid numbers as the hype from last weeks show was still there!
Here is the hour breakdown from RAW:
Hour 1 – 3.463 million viewers.
Hour 2 – 3.399 million viewers.
Hour 3 – 3.081 million viewers.
As you can see, the third hour of the show that featured Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar’s return took a big drop.

I guess Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman in a talking segment wasn’t enough for viewers to keep their TV’s on or simply RAW is too long for some. 3 hours of television is a lot to sit through for the average person.
