At the upcoming Backlash Pay-Per-View, WWE fans will see the (main-roster) debut of Shinsuke Nakamura where he takes on Dolph Ziggler. The ‘King Of Strong Style’ first appeared on the Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania but hasn’t wrestled a match on television yet.

Here is some backstage news on the debut of Nakamura and his match against Dolph Ziggler.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer says that fans should expect Nakamura’s debut to be the main focal (and selling) point of the show. WWE is trying to re-create the moment last year when Nakamura made his debut against Sami Zayn at NXT Takeover: Dallas.
If you have been paying attention to the advertisements for Backlash, the majority of them feature Nakamura alone instead of the WWE Championship match between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton.
With Backlash being in Chicago [an always rowdy crowd], we can assume that Nakamura will be receiving a huge ovation throughout the match. It is also easy to assume that Nakamura will be winning the match against Ziggler in his debut. WWE wouldn’t have him lose his first match…. Would they?

We will have to wait and see what happens at Backlash but we personally believe that Nakamura and Ziggler will tear it up. Looking forward to watching the match.
