Fans received a big surprise in the main event of the Money in the Bank PPV. Brock Lesnar returned and ended up winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there was only a small group of people who were aware that Brock was backstage at Money in the Bank.
Johnson adds that there was some discussion backstage in the afternoon that Brock might be at the PPV but nobody was able to confirm and WWE kept him well hidden.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful added some similar comments:
Brock is scheduled for the PPV event in Saudi Arabia, so it looks like we could be getting Seth vs Brock for the Universal Title.
