Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has provided some backstage notes about tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
According to Sapp, WWE is really targeting the 18-34 demographic for the episode tonight.
This comes after RAW’s numbers for teens were way up for last week’s episode, which was the first episode since Paul Heyman was named ‘Executive Director’.
This 18-34 demographic is apparently going to be a major target for RAW moving forward. Sapp added the following tidbit about what is going on backstage with Heyman:
“We’re told that Heyman sits in the middle of the production meetings among other writers instead of at the front of the room, and has spoken to several team members about Vince McMahon coming to grips with the fact that the program needs to be upgraded, and with that happening, true change could be on the way“
It is also noted that there is more optimism backstage after last week’s episode.
