Backstage Notes From The “Ultimate Deletion” Match

The “Ultimate Deletion” match between Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy aired as the main event of Monday Night RAW this week. Regardless of if you loved it or hated it, it seems to have certainly gotten fans talking.

Here are some backstage notes from the segment, via Mike Johnson of PWInsider. 

– Michael Hayes was listed as the producer for the match. Jeremy Borash was also involved as noted last week. 

– Rebecca Hardy filmed and edited a bunch of footage for the match herself. She also helped compose some of the original music according to Johnson.

– Jeff Hardy has been working out at the WWE Performance Center this week as he gets closer to returning. He appeared as his ‘Brother Nero’ character during the match.

– Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy were both backstage in Dallas for RAW when it aired.

– WWE didn’t air the match for fans in the arena. Instead, they received a few dark segments which included Braun Strowman and Ronda Rousey. You can watch some of those videos here. 

– The match was a hit on social media in terms of engagement. The match trended #1 worldwide for a couple of hours after RAW went off the air.
