WWE Changing The Name Of Big Cass?

Big Cass tore his ACL several months ago during an episode of Monday Night RAW. Rumors suggest that he is very close to returning to WWE Television.

Could he be returning using a different name other than Big Cass?

WWE filed for the trademark ‘Colin Cassady’ on March 30th, 2018. On the trademark application, WWE says that it is for:

“Entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio and via the internet or commercial online services; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment; fan club services; organizing and staging entertainment events with wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the fields of sports entertainment”

Colin Cassady was his ring name before he was known as Big Cass.

The obvious speculation if WWE does change his name would be that the company is trying to remove any association to Enzo Amore. This is only speculation at the moment though and nothing has been confirmed. We will let you know if we hear anything more.
