Big Cass was recently a guest on the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. He spoke on a wide variety of topics about his career and push as a singles star in WWE.

One of the topics that was brought up was about his split from Enzo Amore and having to do these long promo segments by himself. During his time paired with Enzo, there is no question that Cass did less talking between the two of them.
Cass would say on the podcast that when he was paired with Enzo, fans would say that it was because he wasn’t great on the mic and Enzo was used as his mouthpiece. Cass says that wasn’t the case and he has always been confident in his talking ability. He also says that he was supported by the legendary Dusty Rhodes in regards to his promos:
“That may have appeared to be the case but I’ve always been confident in my talking ability. I’ll tell you what, the late great Dusty Rhodes, he always would tell me how good my promos were and he always enjoyed my promos. If there was ever any question of my abilities with the office or whatever, Dusty Rhodes would go to bat for me because of my talking ability. I’ve always been confident in it and I know that I’m good at it. It is just finally getting a chance to show the world it”
He also would say that he has been happy with some of his promos so far, including the night that he turned on Enzo.
Cass also gave his thoughts on the rumors of Enzo Amore’s backstage heat with the WWE locker room.
