Big Cass was injured this past week on Monday Night RAW in his match against Enzo Amore. After a bad-looking landing on the outside of the ring, Cass tried to finish the match. His leg eventually gave out and he had to be helped to the back.

Earlier in the week, WWE’s Dr. Chris Robinson said that it initially looked like an ACL tear with a possible medial meniscus tear. WWE was going to have a radiologist look at the MRI results and give the final diagnosis.
According to a new update from WWE.com, it is confirmed that Cass suffered an ACL tear in his left knee. Cass had surgery on Thursday night and has already started rehabilitation.
Dr. Robinson also said about his recovery time: “a typical ACL tear takes about nine months”. This gives us a timetable for Cass’ return, which means he will miss Wrestlemania.
