Brock Lesnar is set to take on Mark Hunt this weekend at UFC 200. This still leaves his status for Summerslam in question considering he could get injured during the fight. Summerslam is set to take place on August 21st which is only a little over a month after UFC 200. Instead of waiting to see how Lesnar does, the WWE is reportedly going ahead with announcing Brock’s opponent this week, regardless of the outcome of his fight.

The WWE made an announcement on RAW and also have been tweeting about it on their social media accounts. They will make the announcement of Brock Lesnar’s Summerslam opponent on this weeks Smackdown.
