Big Update On Shayna Baszler’s Status With WWE

Shayna Baszler made headlines over the past few months for her dominant run in the Mae Young Classic tournament. Shayna destroyed everybody on route to losing in the finals to Kairi Sane.

There was a question of whether or not Baszler would be signing with WWE full-time after the tournament. WWE made it official on Monday.

Here is an excerpt from the article from WWE’s website:

Shayna Baszler already made history as a finalist in the inaugural WWE Mae Young Classic. Now, The Queen of Spades is ready to embark on her new career in WWE as an official member of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.

Baszler, a former UFC fighter originally from Sioux City, S.D., began training full-time at the Performance Center last week.

“I’m looking forward to getting out there and twisting limbs off and breaking bodies,” she told WWE.com. “I can’t wait.”

Looks like fans should expect to see her soon on either NXT or maybe even the WWE main roster if the rumored Four Horsewomen match comes to fruition.
