Below are some of my bold predictions for the Extreme Rules PPV.
5) There Will Be A Big Stunt During The Last Man Standing Match, Which Writes One Of Them Off Television
The event will feature a Last Man Standing match between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley.
I am predicting that this match is going to feature a massive stunt. Something that writes one of them off television for the next month or so. My guess is that the winner of this match is going to challenge Seth Rollins next for the Universal Championship. The loser is going to be moving back down the card.
In order to protect the loser, it could make sense for WWE to do a big stunt here. I am talking about something like Braun tossing Bobby off the stage or something like that.
This would allow Lashley to take a few weeks off WWE television and reset his character. Or, it could be the other way around with Strowman taking a few weeks off to reset. Either way, the loser of this match will be getting a reset.
4) Sasha Banks Will Return And Will Help Bayley Retain Her Title
Bayley will be facing off against Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss in a 2 on 1 handicap match. This will be for Bayley’s Smackdown Women’s Championship.
I think that we are going to see Sasha Banks return here. It would make sense since the odds are clearly stacked against Bayley. Plus, Nikki Cross teased that Bayley should “find a friend” on RAW this week.
I think that it will look like Bayley is about to lose and Sasha will make her long-awaited return. This will allow Bayley to retain her Title.
