Bret Hart Shoots On Triple H, Says He Couldn’t Lace His ‘F****** Boots Up’

Bret Hart has been critical of Triple H over the years. In previous interviews we have seen Bret say that he has never seen anything special out of Triple H during his career. He thought he was a decent wrestler but nothing special. On a recent episode of Bret Hart radio, Bret Hart shoots on  Triple H, saying he couldn’t lace his ‘f****** boots up’.

It all began when Bret started talking about the WWE 2k16 video game rankings where he is significantly lower than Triple H:

“I like the new one. I have some discrepancies with the game a little bit. I went to a thing last Fall when the latest 2K game was coming out. They were telling me how I’m an 85 or something like that and Triple H is a 98. I remember I was like, “Why would he be a 98?” And they go, “Well because he’s the boss and we have to suck up to the boss.” I dunno, he was laughing about it. It kind of pissed me off. I thought, “I don’t care how many titles Triple H wins. He could never lace my f*cking boots up. Period” (Source: Bret Hart Radio).

Bret continued:

“He was a very good, medium, mediocre wrestler. He never blew me away with anything that he’s ever done. He’s never come up with much. He’s always been a very decent wrestler that could give you a good match. As far as being like mind blowing…I never saw it. I’ve still never seen it” (Source: Bret Hart Radio).

  1. Well, I don’t agree with everything Bret had to say, but I say the last two WM’s Trips had were lack luster and looked to be just phoned in. Even the story telling for both matches(Sting and Roman), I feel Trips was not a good heel like he was back in the day. If this is how Trips is going to work matches going forward, I would prefer he didn’t wrestle, or make himself the center of attention of an angle if he is no longer able to be a true heel, because he was one of the best heels in the business, he relished in it, but now he just doesn’t have the passion for it, and he will never be as good Authority heel as VKM. Vince could draw real heat as an Authority figure, Trips just seems to pander to crowd now, which is a face thing.
