Some sad news to pass along, Brian Christopher Lawler has been hospitalized after a suicide attempt. Lawler is best known for his time in WWE as ‘Grandmaster Sexay’, where he was one-half of the tag team Too Cool with Scotty 2 Hotty. He is also the son of pro-wrestling legend Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler.

Some preliminary details were reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet and Mike Johnson of PWInsider.
According to Satin, Brian was rushed to a hospital after hanging himself in Jail. Satin was unable to confirm if he had passed away but says “the situation is looking dire”.
Johnson also says that the situation is dire and adds that Lawler is not expected to recover. Family members are assembling to say their goodbyes and WWE is aware of the situation.
Brian had some trouble with the law over the past month or two. He was arrested for failing to pay for a hotel bill. He was also arrested for a DUI a few weeks back.
