You might remember Bull Dempsey from his time in NXT. It looked like Bull finally had something last year with his: Bull Fit gimmick before he was ultimately released from the company. On a recent episode of The Ross Report with Jim Ross, Bull spoke about his WWE release and if he saw it coming.

Bull reveals when asked if he was surprised by his WWE release, that he actually thought he would be getting a raise:
“It’s funny, I actually thought I was going in to get a raise. So that was a big turn around. We had just been off the UK tour that we did and I had gotten some really good reactions over there. I had thought okay this is finally taking off and we are going to do some good business with this. For whatever reason the decision was made and no ill will towards them, it was obviously a business thing” (Source: The Ross Report).
He says that he doesn’t hold any grudge towards the WWE because as much as they took away from him (by firing him), they also provided him an incredible opportunity.
