During day 4 of the trial, CM Punk took the stand. We previously noted that Punk shared what the ‘CM’ in his name stands for under oath [read that here]. Punk also got emotional talking about the 2014 Royal Rumble and when he got a concussion.
Here are a few notes from Wrestlezone on Punk breaking down during his testimony:
“- Punk confirms feeling “helpless” when Amman responded to his concussion with “What do you want me to do?”
– Punk confirms asking to compose himself mid-match during the 2014 Royal Rumble.
– Punk has started crying.
– Punk describes his judgement in 2014 as “poor.”
The Judge called for a 10-15 minute break and told Punk to compose himself before the testimony continued.
The whole trial has been a pretty fascinating insight into Punk and how he was feeling during the time of his WWE exit.
Speaking of the trial, a few secrets about WWE referees were revealed. You can read that here.
