It was announced on Smackdown Live this past week that John Cena would be returning in 2 weeks! The show will be live from Chicago. Since the show is in Chicago, fans should expect to hear plenty of CM Punk chants in his hometown.
CM Punk recently joked on Twitter with someone asking if he would be returning to Smackdown to ruin John Cena’s return. Here was the interaction:

Obviously Punk is being sarcastic here. Funny to see him reply to something WWE related.
Punk has been rumored to be in talks with the UFC for another fight after losing to Mickey Gall at UFC 203. It looks like Gall is better than many expected, defeating Sage Northcutt this weekend in his second fight. Guessing based on Punk’s numbers alone they will give him another chance at a fight.

Punk is currently lost at the moment. He doesn’t know what to do next in his career.
he’s seems to be at a cross-roads for sure. realistically, dana white doesn’t WANT to give him another fight because it hurts the integrity of the UFC brand. however, punk is a draw… so, he could be an option for maybe one more go around. but if he continues to lose, he will be persona non grata.
he really should get together w/ vince in a private room at hash out their differences and do business. the product would really pop if he were involved.
