CM Punk lost his first ever professional mixed martial arts fight on Saturday night against Mickey Gall. It was a landslide of a loss, as Punk was choked out 2 minutes into the fight at UFC 203. It seems like the consensus from fans is that Punk shouldn’t have been fighting at the highest level but still deserves respect for stepping into the octagon.
An unlikely source gave credit to Punk after the fight. TMZ caught up with Conor McGregor after the fight and he says that he respects Punk for stepping into the octagon.
If you remember, McGregor made headlines several weeks ago when he called out WWE stars, calling them all P*******. McGregor notes that even though Punk got his a** kicked, he is not a WWE P*****.
