We were told that the Cruiserweight’s would be exclusive to RAW but it looks like the WWE has already broken the rules. A Cruiserweight match was taped for WWE Main Event prior to Smackdown LIVE going on the air in Birmingham, Alabama. Below is a photo and a live report from fans in attendance of Smackdown.

Lince Dorado vs Rich Swann was taped, with Swann picking up the win. Swann was also featured this week on RAW. The ring ropes and graphics were reportedly purple (like they were for RAW this week).

Looks like the Cruiserweight division will also be seen on Main Event and Superstars moving forward. Maybe until these guys get more comfortable in a WWE ring?
