On this weeks episode of Talking Smack, one of the topics that came up was about part-time wrestlers in WWE. We have seen the topic get brought up a lot recently as we head into Wrestlemania season. Daniel Bryan explained why full-time wrestlers get frustrated with part-timers in WWE.

Bryan says that he had issues with part-timers when he was a full-time wrestler and he still has the same issues today. Look at someone like Dean Ambrose, who wrestles all of the live events that aren’t televised and he main events all of them. He deserves to be rewarded when it comes to Wrestlemania.
“Around WrestleMania time, all these people who are part-timers come in and they take the best spots at WrestleMania.”
He says that as a talent, you are sitting around thinking, wait a second, I am the one wrestling all of these matches and they are getting the top spots? Ambrose has wrestled the most matches in WWE over the past 2 years and he hasn’t gotten injured or missed a match.
It can be frustrating for talent when they are doing all of this work and guys come in for 2 or 3 matches a year. That is why you hear people have some anger towards part-timers.

Bryan gets it more from a management perspective now that the company needs special attractions, but he still thinks it should be mixed with the full-time guys in top roles.
Let us know what you think of his comments below!!! Someone like Ambrose who has wrestled the most matches for WWE this year, probably won’t even end up in the top 4 or 5 matches of Wrestlemania 33. We want to hear your opinion on the part-timer debate!
If WWE would spend the time and money to really build up their full time roster, they wouldn’t need to bring in all these part timers. Ambrose has wrestled the most matches for about two years straight, never missed, and the fact that this year he’s going to get so little thanks from the company is ridiculous.
