The 2018 edition of Backlash took place on May 6th in New Jersey. The show was headlined by the match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. It also featured a match between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns.

  • Rating: 1.25 stars. 

— Carmella (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the “SmackDown” Women’s Championship

  • Rating: 1 star. 

— Jeff Hardy (c) vs Randy Orton for the WWE United States Championship

  • Rating: 2.25 stars.
