Dean Ambrose Reveals How Much He Was Paid For “The Shield’s Final Chapter” Special

Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley) was recently a guest on Chris Jericho’s podcast, Talk is Jericho. During the podcast, Dean opened up about a variety of topics.

One of these topics was about his farewell match during the “The Shield’s Final Chapter” special on the WWE Network. Dean, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins defeated Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley.

During the podcast, Dean revealed how much money that he was paid by WWE for the special.

Here is what he said (h/t to Sportskeeda for the quote below)

“You know how much I got paid for the last show I did? They turned this into a special, flew in writers and cameramen and everything, put it on the Network, basically for me. Five hundred dollars… I got paid five hundred bucks for that sucker. I can just imagine Vince [McMahon] and [Mark] Carrano, ‘Oh what do we pay him? … Five hundred bucks, screw him!’ … That’s the minimum, that’s what you get just to show up.”

To add some more context, he mentions that the extras in WWE are usually paid $500.

On a related note, Dean opened up about having to cut promos on Roman Reigns’ cancer. You can read his comments here.
