You might remember some odd Tweets from Enzo Amore after Big Cass tore his ACL several months ago. Enzo seemed to be taking some shots at Cass for not being able to finish the match.
Enzo was recently a guest on the Store Horsemen podcast where he spoke about the injury. Enzo says that he was upset the match ended early and felt like Cass should have been able to finish the match.
Enzo listed several big-name stars from the past that have worked through injuries. This includes Triple H tearing his quad and still getting put in the Sharpshooter. Also, Stone Cold Steve Austin finishing the match after his neck was broken.
Enzo goes on to say that the match was going to be the big blowoff of their feud since he knew he was heading to 205 Live the next night. Enzo says that he couldn’t forgive Cass in the moment for not finishing the match (which explains the Tweets taking shots at Cass after the match).
Enzo revealed that he hasn’t spoken to Cass since that night but did send him a text:
“We haven’t talked since. Since then, the only thing I’ve ever done is, I texted him once on Christmas and said: “Merry Christmas, I hope you come back better than ever”.
Enzo didn’t specify, but it sounds like he didn’t get a text back from Cass.
