Enzo Amore’s Impact On 205 Live’s Viewership So Far

Enzo Amore was added to the WWE Cruiserweight Division several weeks ago. Within the first few weeks of joining the roster, Enzo won the Cruiserweight Championship from Neville. We have also seen Enzo main event the past two episodes of Monday Night RAW.

So is Enzo’s addition to 205 Live helping the show’s viewership?

At least in the short-term, that appears to be the case.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), 205 Live for the September 26th episode jumped up to 7th on the list of most watched shows on the WWE Network. Meltzer says that 205 Live has consistently been around the same spot as NXT (which finished 16th this week). It also is always beaten by Wrestlemania on a weekly basis (which finished 10th this week). At 7th, 205 Live beat both shows this week.

The September 26th episode was the show following his Cruiserweight Title victory at No Mercy a few days prior. It also saw Enzo involved (basically) from start to finish.

It appears at least in the short-term, Enzo is helping viewership for 205 Live. We will have to see if it continues over the next few weeks.

As mentioned, WWE is also putting Enzo and his segments in the main event spot of RAW. Interested to see what they do moving forward.
