Finn Balor Responds To Critics Saying That Seth Rollins Is A ‘Dangerous’ Worker

It was sad news after Summerslam when Finn Balor was injured and forced to relinquish his WWE Universal Championship. Balor suffered a torn labrum after a buckle bomb onto the barricade by Seth Rollins. Rollins has been getting a lot of heat online and being labelled a ‘dangerous’ or ‘reckless’ worker by some based on injuries to John Cena and Sting in the past.

One of the loudest voices that have been talking about Seth being dangerous has been Bret Hart, who recently said if he doesn’t change-up his style he might kill somebody. We have also seen a number of fans blame Seth for the injury to Balor.

Finn Balor was a recent guest on the Ross Report podcast with legendary commentator Jim Ross. He addresses the comments that Seth is ‘dangerous’ in the ring:

“Well, people are entitled to their opinions, but as far as my opinion goes, I have been hurt a lot of time working, and it’s never been with Seth Rollins. Obviously, if you work a lot, you are going to get hurt. Occasionally, this just happened coincidently, and I just so happened to be working with Seth, so as far as I’m concerned Seth is one of, if not the best performer we have in this business. I feel that all the flack he gets is totally unwarranted. Any kind of slack he gets for being unsafe is really ridiculous” (Source; The Ross Report).

Glad to hear that Balor doesn’t have any blame towards Rollins. Accidents happen and sometimes stuff goes wrong. Let us know what you think in the comment section below!

  1. Upon watching all the replays, it’s clear that it was more Balor’s fault. He had his arm way too high. Had he kept facing forward and took the impact on the flat of his back, this probably wouldn’t have happened. It is an unfortunate situation. But I’m sure he’ll get his chance back when he returns.

  2. Everytime Rollins hurts someone it’s because he’s using too much force or is careless. I think we all know by now that wrestlers can do a move 99 times and hurt themselves that 100th time. Rollins has a history of carelessness especially when his ego’s on the line.

  3. I keep thinking Seth stopped just a bit short when he threw Bálor. It seems like Finn put his arm out because he might have taken the force of impact on his head or neck. That would have been very dangerous.
