Season 6’s female winner Sara Lee was released from WWE last year. She now will be joined by the male winner of the season.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Joshua “Josh” Bredl was released by WWE this week.
Josh was wrestling under the name Bronson Mathews since he won the season in 2015. He hadn’t been training for the past year due to concussion-related issues.
Season 6 still has some success stories. Patrick Clark is doing well at the moment using the Velveteen Dream gimmick. Daria Berenato is wrestling in NXT under the name Sonya Deville. Amanda Saccomanno has had success under the name Mandy Rose in NXT.
Also, Chelsea Green has been doing well as Laurel Van Ness for Impact Wrestling.
