Goldberg was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated. This was in order to promote his appearance on HISTORY’s Forged in Fire: Knife or Death series. During the interview, Goldberg says that Brock Lesnar was responsible for the success of his recent run with WWE.
Goldberg also shared a tidbit about what Brock is like outside of the ring.
It turns out that Brock has a softer side that many fans don’t see. Here is a quote from Goldberg:
“I know it’s hard to believe this, but Brock is a caring person underneath all that big giant monster’s body. The relationship he has with his sons parallels my relationship with my son, and I think Brock may have understood what I was going through. Maybe he put himself in my position, saw a little bit of himself later in life in me, and saw how much this meant to me. For that, I can never repay Brock.”

We don’t often hear a lot about Brock’s life outside of the ring, so it is interesting to hear comments like this.
