Hornswoggle Explains What It Was Like Waiting ‘Six-Plus Hours’ Under The Ring

Former WWE star Hornswoggle was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated for their ‘Extra Mustard’ section. Hornswoggle worked for the WWE for a decade before being released last year. He currently wrestles under the name ‘Swoggle’.

One of the things that Hornswoggle was known for during his time in WWE was when he would appear from under the ring during matches.

He would go on to say that he would sometimes be under the ring before fans even came into the arena. Here is what he had to say:

“When it comes to being under the ring, I’d either go under before the doors opened or would get snuck under in the dark while a video package played on the screen. There were times when I was underneath for six-plus hours because it wouldn’t work out to sneak me under later in the show”

He continued, saying that fortunately, he never had any bathroom emergencies while he was under the ring for that long:

“I’d get dressed under there, have plenty of waters, and would normally bring my phone or PSP. Thankfully, I never had a bathroom emergency under the ring”
