Akam of AOP (aka the Authors of Pain) has been out of action since January. During this time, he has been recovering from a knee injury.
Rezar has been used very little by WWE during this time. He has worked the odd live event and on a few episodes of WWE Main Event.
We have some good news to pass your way.
According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, Akam has officially been cleared to return. Here is a quote:
**I received an update on AOP, who have been set to return for a few weeks. Akam has been cleared and it’s simply a matter of coming up with a program for the duo. One of the reasons for their delayed return was the addition of the Wild Card rule, which has tied up television time. Akam has been out since January with a knee injury while Rezar has been used sparingly during that time.
We will let you know if we hear anything more. Looks like we could see them pop up soon on WWE television.
