James Ellsworth Reveals His Weekly Interactions With Vince McMahon Since Appearing On Smackdown

James Ellsworth has been a fixture on Smackdown LIVE for the past several weeks. Ellsworth has been involved in the main event feud between Dean Ambrose and WWE World Champion AJ Styles. In a recent interview with the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling (available on Youtube, Itunes and more), Ellsworth spoke about his interactions with WWE’s CEO.

Ellsworth on his weekly interactions with Vincent Kennedy McMahon:

“Every week after Smackdown I make sure to find him & to say, hey sir how did I do??? Every week it has been nothing but great feedback from him & he has been so cool to me. I don’t get to speak to him for an extended amount of time. It’s literally I walk up to him & ask did I do okay & is everything good? Every week he has said good job kid & see you next week”

On  how much that means coming from someone like Vince McMahon:

“That is what it has been every week & coming from him it means the world because he is the MAN. He is the main guy in this profession. He is THE top guy that nobody is over & I have so much respect for him & what he has done with Sports Entertainment. It is just cool to get that little conversation with him every week but I always make sure to go to him & I always will no matter what”

It is still unclear if Ellsworth will be sticking around WWE full-time after he is finished up with the AJ and Ambrose storyline. They could keep him around as a permanent jobber for live events and the odd tv spot. Talk about a guy that has made his TV time count though!

  1. More than anything, what I want to see is James get a few solid hits in. I didn’t mind that he didn’t get up after the Sister Abigail, that’s fine, but his entire role was just to stand there, tag in, and go down immediately.

I would also like to see an attempt, just any attempt of a different move other than NoChin Music performed successfully. It doesn’t HAVE to “hurt”, but like a basic DDT or something and his opponent gets up and is like “.. seriously?” would be funny and yet still satisfying
