Jim Ross Predicts Who Wins Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar At Wrestlemania 33 And How Long It Will Go

Legendary commentator Jim Ross was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated for their Extra Mustard section. The legendary JR spoke mostly about New Japan Pro Wrestling but also made a prediction for the Brock Lesnar and Goldberg match at Wrestlemania 33.

Ross thinks that Brock Lesnar is going to be walking out of the event as the new WWE Universal Champion:

“Lesnar will go over with his finish, the F5”

Many fans believe that the match is going to be another squash. WWE fans have seen Goldberg wrestle 3 times now but have only seen him in the ring for a few minutes combined. Ross suggests that the match could and should go 10 minutes:

“If they use their head, make sure Paul Heyman is involved in the game-planning, and get an agent like Michael Hayes or Pat Patterson or someone like that, then there is no excuse that they can’t give you ten quality minutes, bell-to-bell. There is no reason that two guys of that stature, earning that kind of money, can’t give ten kickass minutes of pro wrestling content. I firmly believe it’s possible.”

Hard to disagree with JR here. I don’t think WWE can get away with another squash between these two. We need to see them put on at least 5 minutes. Let us know what you think in the comment section below. Do you agree or disagree with JR about the match?
