John Cena Comments On A Potential Wrestlemania Match Against The Undertaker

John Cena was recently interviewed by Tim Fiorvanti of ESPN. Cena spoke on a wide variety of topics about his professional wrestling and outside career. One of the most interesting parts was when he was asked about potentially facing off against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. This has been a match that has been heavily desired by WWE fans.

Here is what he said when asked about the Undertaker:

“Undertaker certainly is a cornerstone of WWE, and just as I say to myself that I really would have liked to been able to get to know and certainly get in the ring with Andre the Giant, just because of all the respect and folklore that went around with Andre, I think The Undertaker has that same sort of respect and folklore around him”

He made it clear that he would like to face the Undertaker:

“If you’re asking if I’d want to be in a high-profile match with one of the most legendary superstars in the industry, my answer is yes”

Cena wants it, a large chunk of WWE fans want it. I think Wrestlemania 33 is the time for this match to happen before it is too late. ‘Taker is at the tail-end of his career and Cena is current working a part-time role with the company due to his outside success. If this match doesn’t end up happening it might go down as one of the biggest what-ifs in the history of WWE.
