Earlier in the week we posted a story from Sean ‘Xpac’ Waltman who says that John Cena ‘insisted’ on putting over Bray Wyatt on Smackdown Live this past week. In case you missed it, Wyatt defeated Cena and AJ Styles in a triple threat match to retain his WWE Championship. He also pinned Cena (clean), which doesn’t happen very often.

It seems like the story has gotten even better.
After Wyatt hits his patented ‘Sister Abigail’ on Cena, you can hear Cena ‘whisper’ something nice to him. I use the word ‘whisper’ loosely because Cena is notorious for being a loud talker in the ring.
You will hear him say: “You’re a proper champion now” as he is getting pinned. A pretty cool moment and adds a nicer spin to the story that Cena insisted on Wyatt going over.
