The 2017 edition of the ‘No Mercy’ Pay-Per-View takes place on September 24th. The event is already headlined by a huge match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship. It looks like WWE is going to add another massive match to the card.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, John Cena vs Roman Reigns is the current plan for the ‘No Mercy’ Pay-Per-View (Update: It has been officially announced by WWE)
This match was teased on RAW last week and it looks like it is going to happen sooner than (many) fans expected. Reigns and Cena teamed together to defeat Samoa Joe and the Miz but there was some tension teased between them in victory. Reigns hit Cena with an inadvertent ‘Superman Punch’ but they were still able to pick up the victory.
Many fans have pegged this match as a potential Wrestlemania main event. It looks like it will be happening much earlier than that. With Cena vs Reigns and Strowman vs Lesnar, the card is already stacked (If you are in the Los Angeles area, there are some cheap No Mercy tickets still available that you can check out here).
There are also some spoilers for RAW tonight for those curious. Cena vs Reigns will be made official tonight.
