An interesting story made headlines about a week ago involving Braun Strowman and Karen Jarrett. For those that don’t know, Karen is the ex-wife of Kurt Angle and the current wife of Jeff Jarrett.
The initial story came from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Strowman apparently ended up on his hands and knees apologizing to Karen after she asked him for an autograph for her son. Strowman was reportedly rude to her and didn’t know who she was. This ended with Karen apparently losing it on Strowman, threatening to tell her son’s father: Kurt Angle. PWInsider reported that the incident was a loud conversation between two drunk people at a bar and nothing more.
Karen was asked about the incident during a GFW media conference. Here was her take on what happened:
“Oh my goodness, I can clear the air. It was a silly incident where you have two people in the wrestling business playing their characters, being silly and it got blown way out of proportion.”
She continued:
“And the fact that the two of us are still in the news and it’s still being talked about, that’s a question that you took the time to ask I think is hysterical, to be honest with you. It’s silliness. It’s the wrestling business, we had fun with it and somebody took it and turned it into something more than it was.”
