Karl Anderson Reveals What Triple H Told Him About Not Signing With AEW

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson recently opened up about their time with WWE on the Talk’N Shop podcast. During this, they spoke about their decision to re-sign with the company in 2019.

Anderson ended up revealing an interesting conversation that he had with Triple H. This was when they were strongly considering signing with AEW.

Here is what Anderson said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote below):

Triple H looked at me and he was like, ‘Dude, I look at you and I see your kids and I think about what if, AEW doesn’t last. You know, I can promise you one thing, WWE will always be here.’

And it’s like I thought we stopped being like, you know, boss and f*cking employee at that point and we became, obviously not friends, but at least for a second, we were two humans talking.

And I am not saying that Triple H could have called somebody or stopped anything or knew anything or even cared. But that just, hearing that from your boss and seeing something like that happen was like ‘God damn, they don’t give a f*ck’.
