Lane was recently interviewed on The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro. She spoke on a wide variety of topics about her wrestling career. One of the most interesting parts of the show was when Lana spoke about her characters inspiration from the hit tv show: Game of Thrones.

Lana on Vince’s love for the show:
“I know Vince loves Game of Thrones. Yeah, he loves Game of Thrones and he loves Cersei.”
Sean Waltman (co-hosting the show) says that Dusty Rhodes was also a huge Game of Thrones fan. Lana continued:
“So that’s another inspiration, it’s just so funny, this is why you should watch a lot of things because I think you can get inspiration from a lot of things . So the whole kind of idea of me controlling the brute was Dusty’s idea ,which is an interesting spin, so it becomes not just like a Russian, but it was like I was in charge of the brute, was and the more of like the conniving character. It was Dusty’s idea from Khaleesi – she controls the dragons”

She also says that the entire storyline that she had with Dolph Ziggler was inspired by the show:
“Vince got that whole idea from Cersei Lannister. I remember having that whole conversation with him and saying, ‘What about Cersei, being conniving?’ He was like, ‘Yes!’ And that whole Dolph Ziggler story came from Game of Thrones!”
