This week on RAW, Sasha Banks teased fans during her promo. She was very emotional talking about the past year and saying things like: every chapter needs an end. This had many fans (like myself) worried that she could be giving us some very bad news regarding her in-ring future. It turned out to be a ruse and she is okay and will face Charlotte at Clash Of Champions.
Former WWE and WCW star: Lance Storm, was confused by the segment. He wondered why as a babyface she would
Here is what he said:
That was a confusing promo segment. #RAW

@LanceStorm They were trying to make it seem like Sasha was injured.

But why would a Baby Face do that? Screwing with the fans is a dick move https://t.co/ESOXsiAhqF

Daniel Bryan did the exact same thing when he came back on the last raw of 2014 https://t.co/ucrUCT7Het

It was a bit bizarre that as a babyface she would work fans like that. I guess the lines are blurred with today’s WWE and not everyone is fully babyface or heel like the olden days.
Let us know what you think of his comments.
Is there a guidebook on what faces/heels have the right to do?
Common sense dictates a lot of it.
True but babyfaces should be able to act heelish at times and vice-versa. Not “omg (face) did *Insert heel tactic* now Im so confused if guy/girl is a heel!”
it was great. it was a bit of suspense. even though I suspected it to be a work based on how sasha worded her tweet… guy nowadays are over-analyzing and being too critical. whether you like it or not… just take the show for what it is. we’re not curing cancer here guys.
