Some sad news to pass your way. Wrestling legend Larry “The Axe” Hennig has passed away at the age of 82. He was the father of the late ‘Mr. Perfect’ and also the grandfather of current WWE Superstar ‘Curtis Axel’.
Larry is best known for his time with the American Wrestling Association, National Wrestling Alliance and the World Wide Wrestling Federation.
The first indication of his passing was a Tweet from Mike Mooneyham:
