Speculation is ramping up over what the Wrestlemania 33 match card will end up looking like. We have heard plenty of rumors and speculation over the past few months and we are coming to a boiling point. The Royal Rumble always provides some clarity regarding what the Wrestlemania match card will end up looking like.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), here are some of the matches being rumored for the event. Note: The key word is rumored so take with a grain of salt.
- Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar
- Triple H vs. Seth Rollins
- The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns
- Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens,
- Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton,
- Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
- AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon
- Big Show vs. Shaq
- John Cena vs Samoa Joe

Our take: Some interesting matches for sure.I would personally be disappointed with seeing AJ Styles end up facing off against Shane McMahon in a non-title match. I think after the year that AJ has had, he deserves an opportunity to put on a classic match against another highly gifted wrestler. Shane is incredible and fun to watch but I don’t know if it is the right fit.
John Cena vs Samoa Joe would certainly have my interest, especially with their past together in UPW. What a way that would be for Joe to make his main roster debut.
