Charlotte posted her New Years Resolutions/ Goals for the year on Instagram back in January of 2016. As 2016 draws to a close, we can say that she successfully achieved all of those goals. Here is a look back at her goals for the year and what she accomplished.

Goal 1: Defend My Championship at Wrestlemania 32
- Charlotte successfully defended her title at Wrestlemania 32 by defeating Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
Goal 2: Main Event a PPV
- Even though Hell in a Cell was billed as a triple-main event, her match against Sasha Banks went on last so we are counting it.
Goal 3: Bring Back Women’s Championship
- The WWE introduced the Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 32, getting rid of the Divas Title. Charlotte became the first champion .
Not only that, Charlotte would have the first-ever Hell in a Cell match between women in WWE history. She also would participate in the first ever IronMan match between two females on WWE’s main roster. Incredible year for Charlotte.
