Backstage in Dario Cueto’s office to begin the show. Sexy Starr the reigning Gift of the Gods Champion, entered the office and told Dario that she wanted to cash in her Gift of the Gods Championship for a title match with Matanza the following week but Dario would inform Starr that she must beat Mundo in order to cash it in. Starr told Dario that Mundo would be a “nice warm up match” which leads to Dario telling Starr that he banned the Trios Champions Fenix, Areostar and Drago from ringside and if they get involved they would be barred from the temple. Starr told Dario to get ready to crown her the first female Lucha Underground Champion which leads to Dario quipping “My mother can attest…women don’t fair too well against my brother”.

Marty “The Moth” Martinez w/Mariposa def. Ivelisse and after the match they throw her out of the ring and as Marty and Mariposa are standing tall in the ring the former Solomon Crowe aka Jeremiah enters the ring. This leads to a brawl between Jeremiah/Ivelisse vs Marty/Mariposa with Jeremiah and Ivelisse standing tall but Ivelisse was not happy with Jeremiah getting involved.

Outside of the temple Ivelisse and Jeremiah are having an argument where Jeremiah reveals Dario offered him a spot in the temple and Jeremiah tells Ivelisse that they can cause destruction together. So Ivelisse reluctantly accepts but tells him that if they are forced to fight she will kick his a** and Jeremiah ends up getting in Ivelisse’s car with Ivelisse.
After they leave still outside the temple. Dario Cueto gets into the back of a limo where Dario meets with councilmen Lawerence Delgado who reveals that “his ascension” is now complete and asks Dario if he’s found a new host body. Dario reveals that he has two in mind which leads to Delgado giving Dario a box and Dario reveals that whoever wins the Best of 5 will get whatever is inside the box.

There was a backstage segment with Rey Mysterio and Dario Cueto. Dario was looking in the box before Rey knocked on the door and Dario put the box away before allowing Rey to come in and Rey explains that he is getting tired of wasting his time on Chavo Guerrero’s bullshit leading to Rey wanting a Loser Leaves Lucha Match with Chavo next week which Dario decides to give Rey with Rey saying that sometime you have to put a dog down for his own good.
Main Event Gift of the Gods Championship Match: Johnny Mundo def. Sexy Starr (c) to win the title after hitting her with brass knuckles after interference from PJ Black and Jack Evans. The Mack tried to help Starr and gave Stunner’s to Black, Evans and Mundo but it would not be enough.
To close the show another backstage segment this time with Vampiro and Prince Puma. Vampiro tells Puma that he should be proud of beating Mil Muertes but it’s only the first step because he is not done with Mil and brings up how Mil and Catrina had put his mentor Konnan in a casket before Ultima Lucha I back in Season 1 and Vampiro brings up how he hated Konnan but it was Muertes that put Konnan in the casket and that Puma must do the same to Muertes and Vampiro brings up again how he hated Konnan but always had respect for Puma
