Over the past few days, there has been a ton of buzz surrounding FOX potential purchasing WWE’s television rights. This comes after some top names from FOX were ringside for Smackdown Live this week. This included Colin Cowherd, who has bashed wrestling fans in the past. Cowherd teased a FOX-WWE deal when speaking about his trip to Smackdown.

If FOX does get the Television rights for WWE, a huge change could be coming to the format of RAW.
Dave Meltzer responded to a fan on Twitter, saying that RAW would move back to two hours long.
@davemeltzerWON Any insight on changing RAWs timeslot if it moves to FOX- or going 2 hours? Affiliates will not be interested in pre-empting 10 pm newscasts

This is something that a lot of fans have been asking for. WWE’s current TV deal with NBC Universal ends in 2019, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
