Major Shakeup To The Lead Writers Of RAW And Smackdown

We have some backstage news to pass your way. WWE has reportedly shaken things up behind-the-scenes. That includes both RAW and Smackdown Live getting new lead writers.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Ryan Ward is out as the lead writer of Smackdown Live.

Ward has been the lead writer for some time now but is on a personal leave. Vince McMahon has been heavily editing the shows over the past few weeks as a result.

Meltzer says that Ed Koskey is being moved to Smackdown to write with Eric Bischoff. This comes after Koskey had been the lead writer of RAW for a while now. He has been with the company for 18 years in a key role.

Jonathan Baeckstrom is taking over as the lead writer of Smackdown Live. He has been the lead writer of 205 Live since 2016. He has also been working with Paul Heyman on RAW since he took over the job.

We will let you know if we hear anything more.
