NXT taped their next few weeks of television on Wednesday night at Full Sail University. These shows will be airing over the next few weeks leading into NXT Takeover: New York.

Some major news was revealed in regards to Tommaso Ciampa, who recently had neck surgery.
During the taping, Triple H came to the ring holding the NXT Championship. He announced that Tommaso Ciampa has officially vacated the NXT Championship due to injury.
Triple H announced that Johnny Gargano will be competing in the NXT Title match at the Takeover: New York. He will face the winner of Ricochet vs Adam Cole vs Aleister Black vs Velveteen Dream vs Matt Riddle.
UPDATE: Adam Cole won the match. It will be Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole at Takeover. It will be a 2 out of 3 falls match to determine the new NXT Champion.
Some pretty big news! Should be an awesome match at Takeover.
