How Many Dates Jim Ross Is Expected To Work With WWE

Jim Ross returned to WWE to call the match between Roman Reigns and the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33. After signing a new contract with the company, Ross has been seen a few times on WWE programming already. This includes the WWE UK Championship Live special and also calling the match between Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover: Chicago.

Ross has also already filmed a bunch of stuff for the ‘Mae Young Classic’ tournament where he will call the action.

So what is Jim Ross’ schedule with WWE? Here is an update.

JR appeared on the ‘Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast’ where he clarified his schedule with the company. Ross said that he will be doing 40 dates a year for WWE.

Ross goes on to say that he has already completed several of these dates for the Mae Young Classic. He also says a few more will be used for the post-production stuff. He also expects that he will be busy during Wrestlemania week for the company.

From what we gather from that, Ross will pop up here and there on WWE programming like we have seen since his return. Most likely he will be used for special events/occasions.  Don’t expect JR to be on RAW or Smackdown Live anytime soon but you will still get some good ol’ JR on a semi- regular basis.
