Mick Foley Comments On The Implications Of Survivor Series And The McMahon Sibling Rivalry

Mick Foley was interviewed by Mike Jones of DC 101 ahead of Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV in Toronto. During the interview, the RAW General Manager spoke on a wide variety of topics. One of the topics was the implications of this years show meaning more than years in the past.

On the implications of Survivor Series this year:

“Survivor Series was the one big PPV that has struggled to remain relevant. All of a sudden, this year with this format, man, the 5 on 5 matches take on an entirely new meaning. They’re not just random teams thrown together, this is a battle for domination”

On Survivor Series possibly being career defining for some of the talent:

“I think this is the kind of match where somebody could have a career moment, that it could make somebody. Smackdown feels like they have the better women’s division because they’ve featured more people. We feel like we have the better women’s division because we have the two women, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair, make such a statement by headlining RAW and main eventing Hell In A Cell. Either way it’s going to be a great night for women’s wrestling.”

On the sibling/ brand rivalry between Shane and Stephanie McMahon:

“When people ask me if this rivalry is real, I’m like, if you don’t think this is real, you don’t know the McMahon children. It’s very real!”
